King Manassa turquoise comes from the King turquoise mine, located in Manassa, CO. It was mined by the Anasazi Native Americans for centuries and rediscovered in 1890. Originally called the Lickskillet Mine, it is no longer active, making King Manassa turquoise an increasingly desirable material. This turquoise ranges widely in color and quality, but is known for its blue green to green color with brown or golden matrix.
The turquoise in this ring is of excellent quality. It has a beautiful teal blue color with both brown and golden matrix, and it is cut in a captivating freeform shape. The ring has a pretty floral band for added interest. It is sterling silver, which has been given a dark patina to highlight the details. The face of the ring is both 13/16" tall and 13/16" wide.
It is a size 6.5 with a 4mm wide band. You can find out your ring size at your local jeweler - please be sure you know your size as I cannot accept returns due to sizing errors.
