about

...
I have degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and at one time dreamed of having an academic career. I have taken courses from the Gemological Institute of America, or the GIA – the world-renowned organization that sets industry standards. I am a GIA certified Accredited Jewelry Professional. The curriculum was invaluable, as I learned to accurately and ethically represent stones, and to truly appreciate the beauty of those that are natural and unique. I plan to continue my studies in Colored Stones with GIA. I have a separate certificate in Jewelry Design and Repair.
In 2013 I set jewelry-making aside to focus on personal goals. By the summer of 2018, I was ready to jump back into jewelry – with the goal of going full time. I wanted to branch out into the art form of metalsmithing. Now offering wire designs as well as fine metalsmith jewelry, Elisabeth Allerton has come into its’ own and I offer pieces to adorn women of all styles. All pieces are perfect for the empowered woman who loves something a little out of the ordinary!
Note for jewelry designers: I have two wire wrapping tutorials published in the book “Bewitching Bead and Wire Jewelry,” which can be found on Amazon by clicking the title.
