Please review all of my policies thoroughly. It is my goal to make every customer experience as positive as it can be! I do everything I can to make sure everyone ends up satisfied. Please contact me with any questions or concerns – I strive to constantly improve my jewelry and shop experience.
I cannot guarantee my schedule and material availabilities will allow for all custom requests, therefore I am currently accepting very limited custom requests. Feel free to contact me if you have an idea and we can discuss whether it is something I am able to complete. I have limited ability to remake pieces previously available due to the unique and rare nature of the stones I use in my designs.
How it works: You and I discuss your idea, materials to be used, time it will take to receive materials and make your item, etc. I will then take a 50% non-refundable deposit and begin the creation process. When your piece (s) is/are finished, I will send you photos, and in some cases, video, of the finished product. When you approve, a custom listing will be made for you to purchase in the shop. SALES ARE FINAL.
Please note: Coupon codes / sales / any types of discount CANNOT be used on custom purchases.
I offer layaway to customers in good standing (no previous issues). Payments may be made in 3 or 4 total deposits over no more than 2 calendar months. Deposits are non-refundable and since I can not sell the item while it is being held, layaway sales are final. To arrange layaway payments, please contact me.
I offer limited wholesale. I can work with a limited number of select licensed retail shops that would like to offer my jewelry for sale. Please contact me if interested and we can discuss details and availability.
I take photos of my jewelry in a few ways. I either use a DSLR with a macro lens, or I use my iPhone 6S. For lighting: indoors, I use a combination of LED and daylight bulbs filtered (to minimize shadows) with a light box. I find this combination creates the best lighting situation to show the colors and details of the pieces accurately. Outdoors I take pictures in bright sun or overcast conditions.
*Some pieces have video of the jewelry in motion available on my Instagram page @elisabethallerton. If you do not see video of a piece you are interested in I can usually take a video for you if you contact me to request it.
I usually ship within 1 business day, but please allow up to three business days to ship. I ship USPS First Class which comes with tracking within the U.S. If insurance is desired, please contact me before ordering.
Domestic shipping is complementary and takes about 3 business days to arrive (continental) once received by USPS. Please expect a couple extra days for HI and AK destinations.
International shipping varies in price and transit time by customer location. Please complete your cart and proceed to the shipping step in the checkout process to see shipping costs. I am not responsible for customs fees.
Please contact me ASAP if you believe your package has been lost.
Jewelry is packed carefully in tissue paper, placed securely in a cotton-filled box, and wrapped with a raffia ribbon. It is ready for gift giving. For shipping, the box is padded with bubble wrap and placed in a padded mailer. Each order includes a complimentary mini polishing cloth, with the exception of pieces created with blackened sterling silver (as the cloth may remove the patina).
For issues with an item you received please contact me within three (3) days of receipt. If a return is in order, it must be mailed back within seven (7) days of receipt.
If the item arrives damaged (please document with a photograph), I will pay return shipping and repair the item for free - if possible and desired by the customer. A full refund will be offered if repair is not possible, or a credit for the same amount may be applied to an exchange.
I do NOT offer returns or exchanges due to the customer changing their mind. Because I work hard to take accurate photos of each piece and describe the piece in detail, including giving measurements, I am confident that the piece you receive is exactly the one shown and described. Please read the measurements carefully. Some screens may depict colors slightly differently than others.
Please note: gemstones with optical phenomena such as play-of-color, adularescence, or flash will not display these qualities at all times. These are transient and come and go with changes in angle and lighting. I do my very best to represent the stones as they are “at rest” as well as when they display their phenomena. I will not accept returns because of a misunderstanding of the way phenomena works, since I describe and photograph the “resting” states as well as the “active” states.
